ThreadSpec — Privacy Policy

ThreadSpec does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. ThreadSpec is a reference application for identifying and looking up screw threads. It works offline; the internet is used only for the optional purchase described below.

Information we collect

None. The app has no user accounts, no registration, and no sign-in. We do not collect any personal or usage data, and we do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking.

In-app purchase

The app is free and offers one optional one-time purchase ("Pro") that unlocks additional features. This purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. Google handles the payment; we do not receive, see, or store your payment details. To complete or restore the purchase, the app contacts Google Play over the internet — this is the only reason the app uses the network.

Data stored on your device

Your settings (theme, language, units, search width), favorites, and whether Pro is unlocked are stored only locally on your device. They never leave the device and are removed when you uninstall the app.

Third parties

The only third party involved is Google Play, solely to process the optional purchase. Its handling of payment data is governed by Google's own privacy policy. We share no data with anyone — there is no data to share.

Children

The app is safe for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
